This is mainly geared towards newbies who aren't retarded/on the verge of a ban.

Many of the people on these boards also congregate in a chatroom on IRC known as #rawr. We'd love to have you if you're not a complete moron.

So, if you wish to know more about accessing rawr, Z2 has a wonderful help file (even though the latest channels are outdated) on how to accomplish this.

Yeah. Sadly Guy did the same thing, and he was a COMPLETE RETARD. Let me lay down some guidelines:

ANIME FACES (O.O, ^_^, ETC.) GENERALLY GET YOU KICKED FOR BEING A RETARD

ACRONYMS (LOL, ETC.) GENERALLY DO TOO.

WHILE MOST OF US TALK IN CAPS OR LOWERCASE, TRY TO SPELL CORRECTLY OR I'LL FUCKING CUT YOU.

TRY NOT TO BE ANNOYING IN GENERAL.

Step 1. Go to www.mirc.com and download the latest version of mIRC.

Step 2. Install mIRC and then run it.

Step 3. You should be presented with an options screen. Enter a fake real name, email address, and pick a nickname for yourself, as well as an alternate.

Step 4. Either select "Random Espernet Server" from the server dropbox, or input the following in the text screen that comes up: /server chocobo.esper.net

Step 5. You should now be in Espernet. You can register an account later if you want.

Step 6. Type the following into the Espernet status window: /join #rawr

Step 7. You're now in our channel. The guys with the @ before their names are ops and have the ability to kick or ban you for being retarded.
