Because the controller is VERTICAL. Not DIAGONAL. Put THAT in your pants.

i like the revolution controller
it's certainly different
the only person so far i know outright hates it is moose, but since when do we listen to him anymore
however, there really is no getting around the "looks like a remote control" aspect of its design
sorry

I particularly like the whole idea that it can tell how far away you are from the screen. I mean, the possibilities are endless. Kicking ass in Zelda using the controller as a sword. Now THAT would be cool…or really lame and stupid. You decide.
It has been said that I have issues…I am inclined to agree

FIRST OF ALL: there will be a "shell" for the controller that'll make it look like a "regular" controller.Commodore wrote:I'm really only wondering how well NES game will play with it.
Also I'm frightened they're sinking their own ship by scareing away 3rd party developers.
SECOND OF ALL: A lot of third party developers are excited by the possibilities of the new control scheme including Peter FUCKIN' Molyneux and Hideo FUCKIN' Kojima.
FUNKY DEFINITION: MAKE THEM BOYS GO LOCO

I won't argue with Hideo FUCKIN' Kojima but Peter FUCKIN' Molyneux is entirely immaterial to a discussion about video games, or should be.SECOND OF ALL: A lot of third party developers are excited by the possibilities of the new control scheme including Peter FUCKIN' Molyneux and Hideo FUCKIN' Kojima.
And the Revolution is going to fail funtastically in America regardless of its controller.
