Scorch 3000; a space novel by medieval; pardon the pun

In your adventures through the Town of ZZT, you have been captured by the evil Dungeon Guards. Not recognizing you as the great escape artist you are, the guards have thrown you in the Dungeons of ZZT.

Scorch 3000; a space novel by medieval; pardon the pun

Post by 661 »

And you guessed it; the year is – dndndndndndndndndnd – 3001, baby. And Scorch our lovely villain; and Tyrannous our enigmatic pseudo-hero.

This is a space-fantasy spoof of a galaxy of evil corporations who “battle it out” for supreme control; where entire worlds are destroyed due to mere jealousy; and God himself reveals that he “just doesn’t give a fuck anymore”.

Scorch, a veteran fighter pilot, once a great bounty hunter (until Tyrannous “stole” his identity), is searching for a place in his universe; a place where Snorby isn’t dead.

Tyrannous is a bit of an enigma, and his true intentions never “really” shine through. He is a pseudo bounty-hunter who assumes, from time to time, Scorch’s old name “Viper”. He has explored the possibilities of many careers; and at one time in his life he was a pirate of the Blue Sparrow guild (a group of marauders who steal from the rich to give to the poor). But many unfortunate events have moulded his personality towards the route of chaotic neutralism, and thus he is a man on the verge of sanity; always looking for retribution to the wrongs that plague the galaxy, yet creating more havoc in the process. It is rumoured that he is now involved with a terrorist group, though the accuracy of this claim should be considered sketchy.

Massive corporations span the great Sol system; Megazeux, Z2, and RPM to name a few. Since space is so vast, the law enforcement of Earth’s Star Command cannot adequately protect the wastes beyond the Mars-jupiter asteroid belt. And this is to the pirates’ advantage; although many small guilds of bounty-hunters and elite vigilantes have “set-up” outposts. Chaos is the new harmony of our solar system.

A negative star is the opposite of a star. It's made of negative energy. I guess it's like a black hole, but different.

Regular Star----->*
Drake Darkstar----->*
