Maybe if I win, I'll finally achieve closure and be able to leave the ZZT community forever.

I cheated on every 24hoZZT game I can recall except for this one and my first one, by making boards in advance. However, I never cared enough to make very many, or to make them very good. Except the ones in the day cthulhu got up on the wrong side of bed and demanded a sacrifice, those were great.

Don't worry; I did get all the submissions, although due to circumstances marginally beyond my control, I was not around on #z2 for the end of the contest. Nevertheless, I received 5 entries:

Ando: It is a Mystery
Flimsy: The Mystery of the Swiss Cheese Automation Thing
graa: It Came from Switzerland!
Zandor 12: Mystery of the Robot Cheese
Zephyr: Surrogate Mother Automation

They will be sent off to the judges as soon as I can manage.

Just to add a comment, I wouldn't feel so bad about the end result of this contest. The main reason why there was low turnout was because of the Mother's Day weekend and plum bad luck on the participants' part. I know that my entry isn't as good as it could have been, but hey, at least it's an entry!

Your entry just ran over a baby duckling. Now who doesn't feel so bad?

The reason I was not able to participate in this WOZZT is because I already participated in a 24hozzt in the past with the topic "mystery." Thus, automation and Swiss cheese were overly complex, so I was not able to create ideas with my brain to make a game.
