AARRGGHH!!

Post by Furry Jesus Freak »

My ZZTV9 Channel, #Carrotus, has had a HUGE problem. One of my boards got too big, and after I fixed it, I went to test it, and my Title screen/Menu was corrupted! In ZZTAE, it reads #play (something)/i/i and now ZZT and Kevedit won't load it! Normally, I would just redo it, but I have a rant and a profile that took me FOREVER to type up. Could someone, ANYONE here "grab" my profile and rant objects and put them in .txt format or fix the TS/Menu? Or am I screwed and forced to attempt the Nortan Un-Erase Wizard to attempt to get a backup I accidentaly erased?! PLEASE HELP!

Well I suppose unerase may help you.

Make a backup of the zzt file and save it as .txt (or just open it with notepad). Then poke around for the text. It shouldn't be too hard to find so long as the text itself isn't the corrupted part. You'll probably have to edit to get all the gibberish out, then save the text, and import the file using kevedit (or whatever).

I'm not sure where to find it, maybe kevedit's site, but if you need to save individual boards, you could look at the file format guide, then hack the zzt file in a text editor into seperate boards and save them as .brd

If you like that, try JJ:The Secret Files. WTH?! I know. Just go to underdogs.org and search for Jazz Jackrabbit. It's there. It's 30 or so MB.
I have JJ 1-9, Holiday Hare, and JJ2 full version! (JJ2FV came with a JJ disk. ^_^) I like Spaz, but I hate how he eats birds whole. I thought rabbits were vegetarians??

Does anyone know how to get a green-on-black fake w/o putting? It's for the sword engine. It's bullet to boulder, then another object #changes the boulder into different things, ultimately back into a fake. However, like previously stated, I want the fake to be green-on-black. (Dark green, btw)
Can anyone figure out how to do this?

No, JJI is split into 9 or so "episodes".

Green on black?

I think #put direction forest then #put direction fake would work, but that would work(Is forest black-on-green or green-on-black? If it's B/G, this combo will get you dark green "water". If so, use #put direction water to get a "normal" looking square.
