Oh my God, it's happened. Someone has made a hack of Super Mario Bros 3 that doesn't suck. In fact, it's like playing an entirely new Mario game altogether.

Of course, you'll need an emulator to play it, but eh. I like it.

Grab ips.exe from somewhere (like <a href="http://just4fun.zophar.net/doc/ips.zip">RIGHT HERE</a>), put it in a directory with the rom and the patch, and type

ips gamename.nes patchname.ips

with the actual filenames naturally.

There's other utilities to do it automatically if you don't want to type as much, you should be able to grab them from zophar.net

And yes this game is hard as fuck
