Can anyone tell me how does the inventory system in Burglar! works? i can't get it to work! what does ?+i means?i thought ? activates the cheats...?!

? does activate the cheats.

?+anything sets a flag. So in every board of Burglar there's an object with code like...

@Inventory
#cycle 1

#if i then use

#clear i
What do you want to use?
!1;Crowbar
!2;Kleenex

#all:crowbar
#loop
#end

#all:kleenex
#loop
#end

Then the other objects...

@window

uh a dirty window

You shatter the window or something.

:kleenex
You clean the window. AREN'T YOU A NICE BURGLAR.

I believe souls ARE immortal,
but you destroy them (theortically) by puuting them in a candle (means: entrap them), and light that candle and let it burn.
That way, the souls are (theortically) burned, therefor do not exist!

Except that burning something does not destroy it, it just changes its form - for example, wood becomes carbon dioxide and... uh... regular carbon, I guess.

So you can't destroy a soul at all. See?
