I could test ZZWorks for Windows 98 fourth edition (yes, it is real. yes, it is rare. yes, it is very cool. NO, I WILL NOT GIVE IT TO YOU. I do not deal warez.) although from my experience anything that will run on Win95 will work perfectly on all Win-32 OS's (Windows 95, 98, 98SE) as these systems re-use a great deal of resources and probably source-code. for the same reason, it is notoriously difficult to dual-boot these systems together. (Why...?)

you have now learned something today. you may now return to a vegetative state.

Since HostUltra is such a bitch, go to http://www.hostulra.com/~myliverhurtz/thing.html in order to download ZZWorks Beta. Read the readme before you install, please. Will save you some time in the long run.

Damned HostUltra! Allright, I am going to put up a link to ZZWorks from a working page on my site. My site can be reached by clicking on this: http://www.hostultra.com/~myliverhurtz/

Beta-testing list updated. A lot more than I expected :) We should be able to find every. Oh, and just so I don't keep on hearing the same things over and over again, there are currently two known bugs:

ZZWorks is unable to distinguish between games made with KevEdit and ZZT's own editor. Game ino will always state that games made by the normal editor were made by KevEdit.

Active Game thing isn't working properly. I am currently working on this, though the cause is escaping me.

As for SZZT support, it would be far easier for me to just make SZZWorks. A seperate program specifically made for SZZT.

I am going to be adding some new features for the real release of ZZWorks... ZZWorks' own trash bin is one, but the biggest improvement will be that in the utilities list you will be able to set it to a web address. With one click it would launch to any site, most likely places like Z2.

Can someone test it under Longhorn? :XD:

... Windows 95 does not like this program. I can't get it to run in my /owngames/ ZZT directory, because it claims zzt.exe is missing (which it isn't). I can run it in a 'clean' ZZT folder, but neither ZZT, nor KevEdit, nor ZZTAE works from it.

Damn!

I'm having problems with my version too. Suddenly certain files aren't being written to.

I am going to make a short testing program with all main functions... you would just have to run it, it will create an output text file, then you just send the text file to me and I will find out what is wrong.

Anybody willing to do this?
