For what it's worth, back when I was a newbie lurking on zzt.org, I thought the puzzles in <i>Operation: Cobra</i> were incredible <s>but then i deleted it in fear of my parents finding it</s>. I still have fond memories of the game, and <i>Thug Life 2</i> was pretty good.

Also, Raze gets credit for having the hottest avatars/signatures.

Raze: I played Sim: Life right through to the end, and I thought it was a good concept. Have you played Moonpie's Rocker? It's based on a similar idea.

As a matter of fact some of the things Raze did in that game led me to scribble down notes for Crack Down, a sort of tag-along game to Burglar! (same world and country, different city), where you play a drug trafficker. In one of the scenes you swallow a condom full of LSD tabs to get past airport security, and if you forget to tie the rubber off (you're warned to do so) you die on the plane during as terrifying an LSD trip as I could conceive in ZZT. I'd still love to make that, sometime; it even has a cameo of Luke Steel in it.

Moonpie's Rocker was actually my inspiration for Sim: Life. I think I do mention it in the game somewhere, or maybe in the text file. And Madtommy, you should make that game, mainly coz you thought it up while playing MY game.

Well, if I still like ZZT and am not dead by mid-2006 (at which point I will hopefully have virtually no more uni work to do), I might just do that!

After watching Fear and Loathing for the first time last night I must say that's the best thing I've ever heard.
