Playing ZZT on 64bit OS.

Post by meldels »

I have a 64 bit OS, and I'd like to play ZZT. Is there something I can do about the error message I get when I run it? I've searched for an answer and checked FAQs to no resolve.

You will need to use something such as DosBOX to run it. There should be a tutorial specifically for ZZT around somewhere, I'm sure someone will be able to fill in the blanks.

EDIT: I found the tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbfy7qvgp-Q

Alternatively, there is a ZZT clone project being developed that aims for 100% compatibility; if you're only looking to play games, Lyon should work fine for pretty much every game: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3320
