Hello, ZZT.org. It's Newt. It's been a long damn while. Almost ten years or some shit like that.
I'm pretty active at
http://www.glorioustrainwrecks.com these days, making little games there. I'm staging an event weekend next month (May 12-13) where over the course of a weekend, I'm going to try to get as many people to make as many ZZT games start-to-finish as they can. It's mostly a Klik 'n' Play community over there, so a lot of us over there haven't used ZZT in a long-ass time or never used it before. But if your'e still interested in just sitting down and making one or more quick (or not-quite-that-quick) games, give it a look.
Glorious Weekend of ZZT Blitzkrieg-a-thon!
Check out the page for event details! Hope to see some ZZTers involved!

I'll participate the best I can. The idea is intense, a bkbkzzt. Will there be topics, or is it just a free-for-all?

It's a total free-for-all. Make as much as you want of what you want!

Late-notice reminder: this starts in 12 hours and 40 minutes, and I just realized it lasts two days!
I'll be making something.

YEAH that was pretty stupid to set it on mother's day weekend. Mother's Day is one of those holidays that sneaks up on me and I wasn't even thinking about that shit.

In all fairness, I think it snuck up on most of us. :)

I just noticed this, and I might do so! I just submitted my project (incomplete experimental art-thing), and I was wishing I had more time.
