I'm waiting for the first price drop as well. My current plan is to get a Wii along with a second controller, Super Monkey Ball Blitz, and then probably some Virtual Console games - here's hoping they do Super Mario RPG. Maybe a traditional controller style shell too, I'm not really a huge fan of the Gamecube controller for old-school games.
i'm most likely going to get one; just not right now. i want to wait for the price to go down, and for the library of games to expand a little so that there are a few choices that i can make in the way of games i like
what puts the wii apart from other consols is that it doesn't have as much powerful hardware. because of this, the wii developers must rely on gameplay as opposed to graphics and other media. that is the reason such games as cave story became so popular after release
so, i'm definately looking forward to this new consol, even though i'm more into the pc platform and emulation

The ESRB recently re-rated Mario RPGZandor 12 wrote:I'm waiting for the first price drop as well. So it's probably a go (not at launch but probably soon after!)
