<ZZT> Aha. Can you ask somewhere if there's a ZZT MSTing of Police Quest 1? I know there is... I played it once. >_<
<ZZT> I never had a username. @_@
<ZZT> Mind asking, ruin?
The reason why ZZT is dying is because z2 repels/bans most of the shrinking number of newbies that come here. This is because most of the admins here are extremely judgemental. It's a huge fault.
If being alive means being nice to newbies and autistic people, maybe we're better off dead.
Anyway, zzt was already dead. Now it's just deader.
The final stage of death will occur when NO one in the community uses zzt OR EVER DID.
And then there will be a bonus death stage. What will THAT entail? Use words and pictures to give us your impression!
BONUS DEATH STAGE CONTEST: What will the final stage of ZZT's death look like?
It seems unlikely that this deeply unsatisfactory situation will be resolved by a new attempt to answer the old question; instead, as has been suggested by some of the most thoughtful students, we should expect to find that some part of the conceptual landscape in which this problematic entity resides must be reconstructed before it will come into focus.
The bonus stage will consist of me and Kjorteo running down a semi-circle with wacky twists and turns and bright colors trying to dodge bombs and collect rings.
However whenever I jump Kjorteo will lag behind and often crash into the bombs making us lose our hard earned rings.
The final death stage will be when everyone quotes the whole of the previous post in their messages, causing growth of topics far faster than laid down in the "Safe Forum Growth Recomendations Handbook", until eventually the whole of Z2 explodes, taking half of the M25 with it. The following excerpt from The Illustrated History of ZZT talks about the decline, death, and afterdeath of ZZT and the community. Might be interesting.
