If you want to act like He-Man, grab a sword and stand on the peak of one the mountains in Valua then stick your sword into the sky screaming "I HAVE THE POWER!!".Then get struck by lightning just like He-Man.

This is quite true. A lot of video game makers used to be underground. Especially in the era of the c64 and early PC. BBSs rocked. Hell, that's where zzt was first distributed. The majority of them were fresh out of college and had spent their days there feeding tape into mainframes.
Sort of interesting to look up old computer game maker's websites and see how they never really made it past one or two releases.
yo man the first playstation was pretty neat. i don't keep up with the current games anymore even though i have a ps2. but yeah man the first one had skullmonkeys and tomba and shit. i have yet to play jumping flash but that game looks pretty badass, maybe if i can find an iso download.

Jumping Flash was a pretty cool game. As were the Crash Bandicoot games. And the PS had the new Mega Men of course, but they weren't as good as the originals.
I really liked Vagrant Story too (the only PS game I ever actually bought) but then my memory card died and I was like "fuck I'm not going to start all over again."
Almost forgot about Silent Hill! Silent Hill is the shizznit.
