I don't mind this new guy. He reminds me of how I used to be except I would make new topics instead of posting in existing ones. He just doesn't know how to be in the community yet, is all.

Anyway good doctor here are some good pointers:

-Don't post too much during the beginning of your stay here. Read other people's posts so that you get a good feel for what is wanted here.

-Keep in mind that no one is ever serious here so therefore don't take anyone seriously.

-If you ever make any ZZT games get them beta'ed first so that if it's really bad you'll realize that it's not a good idea to release it.

Please follow these guidelines because I really don't want to see another person get banned 8(

While these are mostly good points, I must interject that you are taking advice on how to fit in from Ando.

There's something seriously not right with this picture. :agh:

Go with Dr. Dos' Survival Guide, because even if it says mostly the same stuff, at least Dr. Dos is awesome.

Well he should still listen to me because unlike Dr. Dos I've actually felt what it's like for nearly the whole community to hate you and survive it. I won't go into the reasons why that was so.

Also the guideline "Don't make a shitload of posts" isn't in Dos's otherwise excellent document.

Kind of happens to everybody, really. I'm not sure if anyone pays much attention to ZZT games anymore(at least I don't) but the rest of the points are correct.
