Christmas goes by many names
Crismis, Quiss Miss, Crizzle Mizzle, X-Mass, X-Box, Yuletime, Decemberfiend, Notkwanzaaa... What is it called where you live?
Actually, that's a dumb question, because I'm pretty sure it doesn't go by many different names, and I made most of those up anyway. The real question is: What do you call Santa Claus?
I call him Big Daddy X-Mas. See, it's like a variation on Father Christmas. Um... Yeah.

so guys what did you get for crismis
i got awesome stuff mostly
including but not necessarily limited to;
little britain: entire first series on dvd (i swear that between that and the marathon on bbc 3 earlier i must have watched four hours of that shit)
another dvd of the laurel & hardy movie, which rocks because i love laurel & hardy but i've not watched it yet
a super awesome statuette of a chameleon on a tree trunk, which goes nicely with the coconut-carved snake i got while on holiday in the caribbean a few years ago
a notepad with 1/2 lined and 1/2 plain paper, which has this super awesome hologram cover with 3d goldfish on it
£110 worth of christmas money; £26 of which i spent on the box set of those bigassed hardback peanuts books (which should arrive from amazon on wednesday), and another £23 of which i intend to buy that one locas book with
i also got the first two books of "AI love you" from my sister. bless her, she tried (i guess she figured i like comics so she picked up the first manga she saw in ottokars), but i fucking hate ken akamatsu's stuff because it's all identikit wish-fulfilment harem manga (love hina, negima, etc) so i'm selling that stuff on ebay probably and i'll buy something i want with the money
there was also some other stuff, i guess.
WHAT ABOUT YOU????????????????? i care
in holland they call santa SINTERKLAAS or something and he has a helper called BLACK PIET

Clothes, Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga, a tuner for my violin, other violin crap, a blanket, a wallet with $50 in it, some weird magic tricky thing, The Lord of The Rings: The Third Age (X-Box), a kick-ass sword, and the rest of the Left Behind series. Oh, and a crap load of chocolate. =D~~~~ Ehrm, that's about it.

I got a flatscreen monitor <s>15 inches high</s> 30 inches wide, I believe yours says Etch-a-Sketch on the side.
I got a nice Radeon 9600 which I can't use until I upgrade to Win2k which I'm attempting to do now but it isn't working.
All the cool kids can find out everything else on my LJ http://livejournal.com/users/Dr_Dos

I got a Lord of the Rings: Return of the King game for PC. It doesn't work on any of the computers I've tried to install it on, so I'll be selling it on eBay or something! (but not before making copies of the discs)
I don't know what my other relatives got me because I was snowed in
I wanted a white Christmas, but this is ridiculous

Megaman Zero 3
Invader Zim DVD, vol. 3
Space Ghost Coast 2 Coast, vol. 2
$150 in Wal-Mart gift certificates
$40 cash
$30 West Acres mall gift certificate (which can be used at pretty much every place there except for the arcade ARG G'BAR)
"Stories from a Moron" by Ed Broth, which is awesome despite being so short and repetitive
"Life's Imponderables" by David Feldman, a freaking huge book of answers to questions like why Tennis's scoring system is so fucked up (short answer: Astronomy)
And I haven't even opened half of my presents yet; my sister and her daughter spent Christmas in Grand Forks with her boyfriend's family, so my immediate family's not opening the presents we've bought for each other until she comes over for New Years. The rest of that stuff was from aunts and uncles and whatnot. I can see the dozens of presents sitting there, blocking off the couch and laughing at me.

Reason and logic had led people into the horrors of war; the only route to salvation was to reject logic and embrace anarchy and the irrational.
