Maybe I should actually make a game.
Maybe I should actually make a game.
Well I've been sitting on my ass for over a year and a half and only recently released some random crap. I really should make a *real* game, you konw, with a point, not miscelllaneous things piled together.
Going past that, I need to brainstorm. I ought to make a game about my life, but it would be a blank screen with a few tigers or bears and a screen full of ammo.
Before I myseriously lost ZZT in the closet, I worked on a rough concept in ZZT that appears to me now as the strangest thing ever. You're my generic character, Jim, and you have to stop the Earth from an invasion of pixel people, led by their leader, Tony Blair. You and 3 of your friends hold various magical powers(of which I won't go into for the sake of the children) and have to stop Blair. Generic plot, probably too damn common. I did make a RPG/item/party engine, though, that may be reused. I can always spiff the plot up a bit to be not just nother aliens-wanna-see-you-ass-die game, finish it, and release it... In fact, I'm refurbing it now, but it's getting nowhere.
I've also been thinking of making a game based of a story I wrote for English class who know show many years ago. Perhaps 7th grade. It involves you receiving a package from the future stating that you had your mind downloaded onto a computer and your body frozen, but someone unfroze it and hijacked it and used it to(wait for it) take over the free world. So you go to the future and stop yourself using your current body and go on all kinds of cool adventures while you're at it. I think the concept can be done, but it also quite common of a plot(I think).
Or I can just make another kill sailor moon game or randomness kill-everything game. Though several people have informed me that it would be very detrimental to my health to do so, but it's about all I'm capable of. Short, random games with no continuous point.
Fnord.
Oh yeah, I joined Scorch's random company thing... Can't remember what it's actually called for life's sake but I did. oh well. Sorry, Scorch!

You should've stuck with Ground Zero Interactive. After 9-11 the name would've been perfect.

I REMEMBER LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY.
Because it was you, me, Benco, and Freezerburn.

I say we resurrect it.
Because obviously ERI is dead and I'm pretty much the only member left.

Once I was in #loungeact or something and I was like 'I seriously started at least ten games these past weeks' and wayward was like 'great, how many are you still working on?' and I'm like 'uhh...none.'
