How many of us are doing this from school?

when I used to go to high school, I'd visit zzt.org in the library. The bitchy librarian would look over my shoulder and be like "Is THAT SCHOOL-RELATED?! BLAGGAHBLAGG!" whenever I tried to visit zzt.org after the first 3 times I was booted, the bitch locked it from loading on the library's computers. Yeah, I've forgotten what the inside of a school looks like.
Nope. Because our school is extra-bitchy about what you can visit and not. All the computers in the media center or labs are turned monitor-first towards the admin desk so you are watched at every second, and the bitchy librarians and lab monitors are constantly roamingup and down the isles. Their web filter must have been found at a dollar store, becuase I almost got in trouble for looking up "Nazi" as part of a WWII project, and they thought I was anti-semitic!
In the end, I say
them.

My principal frequently makes claims of having things such as security cameras that can see through walls, records of all internet activity, etc..., and he promises severe punishments for violations of school rules (one of them profanity). Of course, much of this is suspicious; Z2 goes by unnoticed (If they really have records, don't they at least search them for profane words?), the cameras happen to be "off" during moments of mischief, students swear and talk about drugs right under the teachers' noses, and ironically, the principal has very poor vision.theorangehamster wrote:Our school is extra-@#$%! about what you can visit and not.

That's because people don't want to see your face in public.

Heh, here that is completely illegal. Even having fake visible cameras in any public place is illegal.Quantum P. wrote:My principal frequently makes claims of having things such as security cameras that can see through walls, records of all internet activity, etc..., and he promises severe punishments for violations of school rules (one of them profanity). I did!--I did!--You're quicker than your friend... Now for a handful of guilders I happen to have a private and uncut performance of The Rape of the Sabine Women-or rather woman, or rather Alfred--. Get your skirt on, Alfred--
