The latest Zelda does look really cool, especially the smoke/fire and explosion effects.

For a grandiose storytelling adventure, I would recommend Rhygar. Burger Joint has the most delightful gameplay. Both of the aforementioned games have great music. As for graphics, Zenith is absolutely amazing. You may want to look into some of Kracken's artwork as well.

For an example of a bad game, try Stupid RPG.
