It depends on where you come from what things mean, the term Black Bastard is a racist insult in most english speaking countrys used against dark skinned people, but in the North east of england, it's also an insult used to say that someone is dirty (dirty as in dirt black)
Example
Moe: "You need to take a bath Joe."
Joe: "I only took one last month."
Moe "You (dirty) black bastard!"
