System Shock

If you want to act like He-Man, grab a sword and stand on the peak of one the mountains in Valua then stick your sword into the sky screaming "I HAVE THE POWER!!".Then get struck by lightning just like He-Man.

System Shock

Post by Commodore »

Very much the precursor to Deux Ex, SS and SS2 were great games. Well... I haven't played SS for very long.... but SS2 was easily the scariest game I've ever played.... guess I need to wait for Doom 3.

the scariest game i ever played was the one where the big boys locked me in the school boiler room at night
he looked upon the world and saw it was still depraved :fvkk:

Shivers 2? Look, I'll admit, the jack in the box scared me the first time, but the game was less horror and more find those staff thingies while dealing with Darkcloud's "BUHHHHH ILL GET YOU WARRIOR." Now, the original Shivers, that was scarier- the Ixupi on the boat, finding Merrick's body, some of the songs.... whooo. Scary. Hell, reading/writing all that makes me want to reinstall those two games now.

the first few marine missions for Aliens Vs. Predator 2 for PC were pretty freaky if you played them in the middle of them night with your speakers and sub turned way up.
