So... they lowered of the Gamecube significantly. Being the Nintendo boi I am, I should get one, but I also shouldn't spend the money.

Anyway, who has one? Did you get it after they lowered its price? And which Gamecube games are your favorites?

Mario Kart: Double Dash looks like it'll be sexcellent. :D

I bought my Gamecube the first week it came out along with Rouge Leader. Since then I've bought many more games and my favorites have been Metroid Prime and Soul Calibur 2. As for games I am looking forward to:

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
Metroid Prime 2
Starcraft: Ghost

PERSONALLY I WOULD MUCH RATHER HAVE A FUTURE FULL OF NINTENDO THAN A FUTURE FULL OF MICROSOFT, CONSOLE WISE. WELL, IF YOU WANT THE TRUTH I'D RATHER HAVE A FUTURE FULL OF SEGA.

God rest your soul sega =(

I've had my Gamecube since last Christmas. Of all the games I have for it, my three favorites are-

Eternal Darkness (Best. Gamecube game. Ever.)
Super Smash Brothers Melee (Yay, kicking the shit out of other Nintendo characters!)
Viewtiful Joe (Yay, kicking the shit out of people in slow/fast motion!)

On a side note, I also enjoy (in no particular order):

Pikmin (Good unless you run out of Pikmin.)
Rogue Leader (Excellent combat flight game!)
NightFire (I HATE SNIPER RIFLE LEVELS UNLESS *I'M* THE ONLY ONE WITH A SNIPER RIFLE)

i'm thinking about getting one this week.

also, the fact that the gba sp is 10 quid more than the gamecube here amuses me intensely.

SUPER MONKEY BALL!!!
and also Super Monkey Ball 2

I just started playing F-Zero GX, and it's pretty cool, albeit hard as hell. And when the Mega Man collection comes out in February I'll be getting that. I spend more time with my GBA though; there's good stuff for Gamecube, but there are just as many good games if not more for GBA, for less money. I spent most of my first paycheck from Wal-Mart (at least $200 after a 10% discount) on the Cube, a second controller, and Super Monkey Ball. Good times, good times...

ry0 -- yeah, the GBA SP is 134.99 euro over here (compared to 99 for a Gamecube). Quite ridiculous, really. =P

Zandor -- ahh, Super Monkey Ball. I've never seen it, but according to my sister, her boyfriend is addicted to it. Heh.

For some reason, I'm really good at Super Smash Brothers but really bad at Super Smash Brothers Melee.

I wanted to play Cubivore and Ikaruga, but as usual K-Mart and Wal-Mart didn't sell them and Video Max didn't have them for rent. Meanwhile, their copy of WWF Crush Hour sits there, laughing at me.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one working at that place
I'm waiting until christmas when Walmart employees get a 20% discount on one item. Also, the GC and the GBA SP is the same price.

That reminds me- Kmart never gave me my "HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOPE 25% OFF ONE ITEM IS MEAGER COMPENSATION FOR THE ENDLESS BULLSHIT WE PUT YOU THROUGH" coupon yet.
