Okay I'm going to ask the question and risk looking ridiculous. I'm aware that ZZTV11 ran from a browser. Was it possible to download a localized version like in previous editions of ZZTV?

Edit: This is a good question, ajc. There will be a proper release when the project is completed.

My ZZTV 11.2 channel is 26 boards. Are you okay with that? I got it mostly done over the weekend. I'll spend this week touching it up and I should be able to shoot it over to you next weekend. I'm more than happy to help out with importing these boards and getting them linked up properly.

The New Name in Computer Entertainment

Very nice. As it is in the uploads folder (assuming you put it there) should it go on as final, or is the A symbolic of something. Some deep OCD part of me doesn't want to mess up the nice column of ZZTV __s with version numbers.

I know what you mean. My feeling is to speed up the release cycle since submissions have slowed down. As you know, each ZZTV generally had a set of volumes. What I've done here is released the first volume as-is. So if there's an 11B, 11C, etc. they can be packaged together in one zip later on. Or maybe we should just call it 11 and leave the possibility for 12 open? I am sort of retreading Dark FLR's grounds here.. but I really don't know what the future holds.

Mind you this would not be a problem if there was not a DB access issue.

Let's just hold off then ya? maybe better to keep this live and deal with numbering as it comes.

Ok here's the idea to keep Cloud 9 and ZZTV moving forward, respectively.

So keeping with "The Best of ZZT" theme, I'll be awarding 9 of the best next-gen ZZT games on my site, Cloud 9.

I think it's fair to use ZZTV as a vehicle to compile "The Worst of ZZT" alongside regular submissions.

To-do:
- Make some new channels (ZZTV Sports?)
- Do a custom about.hlp menu
- Update em-dosbox engine

Big ups to Dark FLR, Zenith Nadir, MadTom, Commodore and others for navigating me through this by example.

Worst of ZZT could be pretty big! You'd need the find the "Best of the Worst." It's got to be amusing somehow and not just absolute garbage.

Firstly I'd nominate School ZZT, and Jesus 2035. Unless intentionally bad is a disqualification. Perhaps two volumes is in order.

You get the idea! Now I'm imagining a tour.zzt sub-menu but like a chronological hall of shame.

Update: With tour.zzt as a guideline, there's room for 9 featured boards. This should help narrow down "The Best of the Worst".
