I'm making a space game, a open-ended sort of affair with a combat engine and some quests. Energy management and things will factor in. Sort of like those old star trek games. It will make heavy use of external text files so there's an online encyclopedia of the game world
I'm making a request for sci-fi names for planets, starbases, quadrants etc or space-themed zzt art
i had an idea kinda like this a few years ago! but i gave up after i drew the first ship and realised after that it looked like a giant metal penis. it was then that i discovered that any creative work i ever do will be defined by my sexuality, and gave up on art and creativity forever.

i am now but an empty, quivering husk.
quoting for truth
ps:
he looked upon the world and saw it was still depraved
just to clarify in case anyone was interested, it really did look like a penis, i swear. i wasn't just "seeing" a penis through the filter in my brain which makes everything about penises. anyway, fuck off commodore i'm not helping you, my creativity died with my space game and of course npZZT.
I have worked on this since the collab thing is over. Mostly polishing the engine and writing the manual. already there will be more text than anyone would want to read.
For planet names, I think you should use real star names and numbered planets (make then numbered 1-4 designating how far from their sun they are) The bonus is that right now, many M-Class planets are undetectable, so it's almost realistic.
I've nearly squashed all the bugs in the fighting engine. (the non-game killing ones I might say screw it.) I'm close to finishing the navigation engine. I've got 10000 bytes of external text for the on-board computer finished, with planet entries (8) and a glossary (many) to do. Now I need some content! Like a title screen! I'm often intimated by drawing in zzt, that's why I like taking care of the code side first. I don't even have a title but I've been prefixing the external text files with "cos" so it could be cosmic something or C___ of S___, or C___ O___'s, or CO___ S___, or C____ O____ S____.
