when is a roguelike not a roguelike?
when it's monsterland...
seventh shade showed me this game the other day, it's really badass (by which i mean difficult and stylish and really violent): video, web address
it has more in common with contra than adom, it's not turn-based like most roguelikes and the weapons are really cool
yes, it reuses halloween harry and doom sound effects, but is that really a bad thing?
anyway, you should play it, it's very good
