Hello, I'm new and never done ZZT in my life...
I have a problem, I can't get it to run in full screen...

I tried Alt-Enter and it says the system doesn't support fullscreen.
Is their a way to run this game in fullscreen other then DosBox because it's worst then my grandmas cooking.

What other options/methods are there of doing this.

What OS are you using? I've never had any problems (except for a slightly different font) whilst running ZZT under XP or 2000. Have you tried using the default "command" "dos" prompt?

I can't give you too much advice with teh vysta OS. Why don't you want to use DOSBox?

DOSbox has this issue where releasing one key counts as a release for all keys, so you can't hold left, then up, then release left as you're going up because you will stop.

This article has a few tips that might help.

Also, have you done any performance tweaks with DOSBox, such as changing the number of CPU cycles or number of skipped frames?

why do you want to see more of ZZT than you do already? keep it in a tiny little window, that's the best thing to do.

The font looks better in fullscreen mode, though.

Isn't font-fixing what DOSBox is for?

Well, Technomancer was trying to use DOSBox, but it apparently wasn't running all that well.

I just wish they'd fix that sound-lagging bug.

Plus, you can't distinguish blinking material from normal material without fullscreen! This is necessary for one to stay the hell away from blinking stuff and never use it, ever.
