@?

The possibility that this has been discussed in a thread is vanishingly small, so forgive me if there actually is one, and in any such case my laziness as well.

Gentlemen, I cannot find @. I've got a Norwegian keyboard with, presumably, some sort of Norwegian setting. CTRL + ALT + 2 is not it. Nor is any of the æ, ø or å letters @ instead.

I can't find anything, and I need to name my ugly, green objects to make them chase the player, say "aaaaargh" and play out their predestined roles as brain gourmets and cardial excavators.

Also, hello. I programmed in ZZT a few years ago, but then it fell out of fancy for some reason or another. Zenith D did the same thing for 3 years, so you can't touch this.

Kind regards and wishes for a male firstborn

Naridill

PS. My custom tag is absolutely wrong, I do not suck.

PPS. Holy monkey mammaries, this place is deader than Jerry Seinfeld's jokes. So noone would notice if I, ahh, posted pr0n? *turns to a sly grin, slowly opening pornlinks.doc on the desktop*

We probably wouldn't care if you posted porn, as long as its just a link and surounding said link has _thisisporn_(link)omg(/link)_thisisporn_.

Also, you can have your name and link changed. Just a sec...

Here you go, read this.

Perhaps, but you can get the 'sucks' out of your avatar.

I actually figured that out by myself. I went to the repository looking for Dungeon Master's Gallery, and noticed this funny thing under my name. I clicked it, entered my other nick, and suddenly I'm Doctor Corpsey. Go me.

the at sign is the same one you use for email addresses

zzt #char code is 64, meaning you can probably generate it using the numpad... (alt+64)

also are you tyrannous because you sure do type like him

ALT + 64, eh? I'll try that. What I use for e-mail addresses is CTRL + ALT + 2, which isn't working.

Tyrannous? I can be a tyrant at times, but if you're asking whether I also have gone by the nick "Tyrannous", then no.

Anyway, I'm not gonna start a huge project before I'm relatively comfortable with my object programming skills, but I'm thinking about vikings. Brusque brawlers with an affinition for sailing and drinking and pillaging and burning foreign architecture.

Anyway, pleasure to meet you, Zenith, I've played most of your games. First episode of Frost was a furry delight, although I haven't played the demo(?) of the second part yet.

alternately, kevedit has a useful "insert character" option you can use while coding your objects. if all else fails, you can use that.

also it is good to see you are not tyrannous! tyrannous was some kid who was really, really annoying and stupid but tried to hide it beneath a million layers of verbosity and throwing around words he didn't evocatively understand the whimsical meanings of! it crossed my mind you could be him, but you are not... i hope you are not offended...

anyway, welcome to z2! we hope you enjoy your time here.............

No, no, I get mistaken for a miserable, childish bastard all the time, why should I be offended?

Anyway, I'm getting the hang of it quickly enough. I'm furnitured a longhouse, made a sword, a bow, some arrows and a drunken Swede to shoot/cut at. Gotta love killing Swedes. I'll make some Danes too, when I get around to it.

Outside there's snow, a brook with a spinney of pine trees about it, a makeshift horse road, all in varying shades, and some dumbass tame hounds frolicking in the snow, freezing to death. Actually, I'll be sadistic enough to make a script that lets them freeze to death when you look out the window. Hehehe...

@window

A lost dog has frozen to death.

The dog's carcass is devoured by wolves.

You should tell Olaf about the dog.

Well, will probably not be any more progress done today. It's 20 degrees outside, searing rays from our yellow benfactor in the skies, and the midnight sun, meaning I'll probably be outside socialising with birds, squirrels and imaginary Master Chief(and some hawt local girls with a sad no-fondling policy, found that out the hard way) until about... Well, for at least six hours. Toodles!

i wish we would have sun here for more than three hours at a time

ever since i returned to britain a month ago it has done nothing but rain (although it has been nice enough for a game of golf just now and the weekend forecast is good, so things are improving a little)
