Thanks for the numbers. I've got the music fix right here:
http://saxxonpike.googlepages.com/ZAP-0010c.zip

* Music is now properly synced.

Also, I hope my implementation of the double dotted note is correct:

I = eighth
I. = eighth + 16th
I.. = eighth + 16th + 32nd

In fact, the editor actually supports an unlimited number of dots. Go crazy.

EDIT: Also, the music speed only works on computers that can support the high-performance timers. Not all processors can support this. I'm looking into an alternative method for those processor types.

When are you going to get flood fill working?

It should already be working.

EDIT: I went back and added a full-screen refresh after flood filling. Whoops. This was something I overlooked when changing the graphics engine. Full-screen refreshes have been added elsewhere as necessary.

Also, you may notice a couple upcoming features... :)

Saxxon, Please Fix the following bugs:

* When You put Grid mode on, It sticks on the character boundaries

and

* Fix this too: when you right click and select any one of those options, They do not do anything!

Good job so far, Saxxon!

Of course not :) They are not complete as of yet. The build I put up is my work-in-progress. There's still some work to be done with the pattern fill, blinkx, and new copy/paste engine.

Is the next version done, Saxxon?

Not yet. As of late I've been in the process of trying to get a job. Though unemployment was one of the contributing factors of the editor being made...

It's in fairly good working order so you can take a break without anyone crying over it.

I could use your help with libszzt, since I can't seem to find any documentation whatsoever on Super ZZT's file format.

is it not on IF's page? Or is that something else?

Wow. Well, there's one place were I wouldn't ever have guessed something like that would be. Thanks.

EDIT: Looks like it's a little inaccurate. I can probably manage though.

I recall WiL or someone writing up a SZZT format. But yeah, it was a bit inaccurate. Some chars were off and other random subtle crap. It looks like whoever did that guide copied Kev's guide word for word and made a couple quick adjustments.

So, when're you going to upload this to Z2?

Holy crap, I completely forgot about this project. Hah.

I'll upload it to Z2 when it's got features that make the other editors great. Like block copy/paste, etc.

hey saxxond00d... can you do like an update to where drawing cycles through the tools randomly as you're drawing? and in a cycle, similar to kevedit's shift+tab. i don't care for pattern fill or anything, but it'd be nice... i'll settle for a kinda random fill though.. that'd be sweet potato pie. also i still use toolkits and there should be an easier way to get something in the tools other than pressing hte middle mouse button (i don't really have a middle button mouse yet... well i did, but now i need a usb one, a real one with mousballs), something like shift+enter or some special button for grabbing. that's really the only thing i care for for zap... then i can seriously do some superzzt stuff.. and yes i do szzt stuff
