I love the first screenshot, especially that hill/mountain in the background. As for the board you uploaded, it wasn't really polished, but the effect was nice.

Just out of curiosity, do you use the backbuffer much in KevEdit?

I usually just use the first slot of the backbuffer, but it does come in handy if I delete an object by mistake.

I don't really use the other stuff that works with the backbuffer, like g gradients, shift+tab drawing, shift+f random fills, and the locking thing (/), but they can be useful. I use copy and paste more often (to shuffle things around).

is object cluster some centaur thing?

I like the shot on the mountain with the town behind the hill. All you're pictures have really good perspective to them. It's something I struggle with and recently (especially for my recent project) I have mainly made flat boards.
