They have some serious badass rock throwers, I remember that. It's a pretty neat take on zelda, and put lots of emphasis in combat. You pretty much have to practice improving your swordsmanship as you progress through temple to temple, fighting various humanoid characters, up until you fight the final foe of the game which puts everything you know to the test. The training on it own is a worth wild experience, and rewarding when you can easily bum rush a blue iron knuckles through a hail of airborne blades.

I can't see why they don't try to bring the gameplay back, which I thought it put the challenges and skills back into the games of this year.

I can't always look to castlevania for my rpg-sidescroller, melee-combat needs.
