Aye, and maybe we should reinstate (SP?) the rule where normal users can start polls, and have fun such as the daddy and chips poll, not just stupid admin posts such as "Do you want the crappy old boards back?" VS posts such as my what makes a good ZZT game, that receaves positive input, and can teach newbies new tricks.

If it were up to me, this would be the joke:
GAMES MUST NOT USE COLORS BEYOND THOSE IN THE ZZT-INCLUDED PALETTE. This includes colors that can be produced by Super Toolkit, Z-Files, ZZTAE, KevEdit, or other ZZT toolkits and utilities. Stick to the seven bright colors, fathead. As the times change, ZZT stays the same. So this standard is very easily met; but if you experience any trouble, flame everyone you know.
GAMES MUST NOT BE ZIPPED. Zipped ZZT games are so dumb.
GAMES MUST NOT INCLUDE A .TXT FILE. If you are such a lamer that you must include one, it must be in something other than TXT format and should include the following:
Name of Game - As many weird symbols and foreign characters as possible; try to go over 20 letters.
Name of Author - As above
Genre - This can be any genre, but we would prefer senseless garble.
SIZE OF ZZT WORLD FILE(S) MUST BE EITHER LESS THAN 10kb COMPRESSED OR GREATER THAN 2mb UNCOMPRESSED. This is a very odd standard to reach; however, it is one that is also very decisive about the level of insanity required of the programmer. If your game is within the limits (this will probably only apply to LOSERS) please cut it or pad it.
Please put spaces in the name of your zipfile. The database loves that.
Please make sure that the names of your .zzt file and .txt file are not the same. It makes things a lot more misleading, and that is half the fun.
PLEASE SUBMIT SINGLE TOOLKITS. As mentioned before, we need no more sources from which others can draw special colors and objects, but you can submit them anyway just so the archive has more files.
Utilities must pertain to something other than ZZT/ZIG. Dang, we are sick of those two.
If you are submitting a banner, it is all right to forget the banner image file and a TXT file containing the URL of your website. We will not change a thing.
While we generally encourage only banners with pornographic content or that direct through to pornographic sites, banners are added permanently no matter what their content.
If you catch a mistake in your submission after it is uploaded, we would prefer to leave the bad file up, but feel free to reupload it under completely different names to annoy people.
We reserve the right to party heartily after receiving submissions made for no good reason.

A pretty nasty joke, huh?
