4-9-05: NOW WITH FANCIER RULES!!!

There must be more ZZT. Therefore, we must BKZZT! Only I'm giving everybody a week's notice for no good reason!

This is how it will go down:

-This is still open to discussion, but I'm thinking Saturday the 16th, at 6:00pm Eastern for the starting time. The topic will be announced in #rawr. It will also be announced in this thread, but there will be a 17-second or so delay that will make it COMPLETELY FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE TO WIN

-Standard 24HoZZT rules apply, with external editors allowed and a ban on using pre-existing material and whatnot, but there will be a 1-hour time limit from the time the topic is announced. so it doesn't look as bad if there's only three or four entries

-Once time's up, you have a 10 minute grace period to submit your entry. Upload it to Crankweb, I guess.

-SuperZZT is allowed because it's super or something I dunno!!!

-Team-ups are also allowed for some reason!!!

-I want to compete in this, so somebody else has to judge. The judge may also come up with the topic if he wishes, or we could just do what we did last time and let somebody who's not competing come up with the topic (hey, it worked last time I tried this).

-For shits and giggles I will have a .zip of the entries and some completely irrelevant .txt files available in this thread after the fun's all over.


You can go ahead and sign up in this thread if you want, but it's not a requirement. Just make sure to be in #rawr on time for the topic, although I guess I'll be nice and post it in here too.

Probably won't compete because of the time, but who knows what'll I'll be doing in a week from now.

What Commodore said; if you want the job, it's yours. If you have the time, you can play through the entries as soon as the contest is over, although it's not a huge deal if it takes a day or two. Results are the sex, so you could announce your findings in #rawr, or post them in this thread, or do both; it's all good, really.

Also the judge gets to choose the topic if he so wishes.
