Rebirth Machine

This is a top down action game that's sort of a mixture of Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Chaos Engine/Soldiers of Fortune. The evil General Tyrannous has built a device that can revive dead flesh into to horrible new forms and the project Gun Envy team must penetrate his fortress and destroy it. It'll be classic megazeux action game play with one difference: an AI controlled second player. This will be a non-sprite game to keep it simple. You'll have 5 characters to choose from, each with their own special ability:
Seventh Shade - Rapid fire gun. The leader of Project Gun Envy. Unfortunately he is inexperienced and far to confident in his own abilities.
Fungahhh (The Baker) - More health than anyone else. Fungahhh was once the member of a super assassin squad along with The Butcher and The Candlestick Maker. The Candlestick Maker betrayed them all, killing The Butcher and nearly getting Fungahhh as well, forcing him into hiding and disguising himself as an ordinary bakery owner. He joined when he found out that The Candlestick Maker had become General Tyrannous' right hand man.
Nadir - Weapon does more damage than anyone else's. A retired mob boss with more money than God. He joined up to get back in the action and settle a score with General Tyrannous for halting his operations in Cambion (the country Tyrannous' minions have over run).
Dr. Dos - Can carry more special weapons than anyone else. Dr. Dos is the genius behind the Rebirth Machine. He feels responsible for it's misuse and will do anything to see it dismantled.
Froman - Faster than everyone else. A 70's style super-spy with a Fro the size of a beach ball and a reputed taste for man jelly, he joined up to show off and make a name for himself.
Eurakarte (Decoy) - He is seemingly the most useless member of the team. He only has his fists for weapons and he's slow. Why use him? Well he has a lot of health and the monsters seem to like picking on him more so than anyone else.
