Not sure what the topic's bringing, or what i'm not supposed to be thinking about, but I'm pretty much done.

I'm hesitating to release it release it for the following reasons:
a. music
b. board submissions. If you want to contribute to this game, i'll randomly fit it in somehow. I felt it would be unfair if nobody else got a chance to throw something in of their own. Then i have more names to add to credits.
c. can't think of more credits.

It's possible that the screen was constructed from the Megazeux editor. That gem that you mentioned looks like the one that is used in MZX. I could be wrong, though.

No, that's a real screenshot from Lil Buddy ZZT. It uses ZPalette the thingy discovered from SmileyMZX who will probably never make a ZZT game using it, but it really doesn't matter. It changes the palette of dos and it's been found useful by me.

I also used a font, and i'm glad someone thinks it looks like a screenshot was made in megazeux because that's what it's kinda supposed to look like. In any case, I linked to the game as well, so the fake part has been debunked if you went through the trouble to try it.

Yes, in games like Rogue you got to be character 1, so why not in this adventure? The same went for the megazeux version. Gems also were like this. Gave the duck that gleam in his eye. A lot of things I wanted it to look like it was a pure port. I'm tired of megazeux stealing zzt games like sivion, freakish town, freaky zzt, and even town of zzt... so this is my way of giving one of those adventures back to zzt. Of course it's real. No point in putting a project up if it wasn't real. Get real.

I'll probably be adding some boards to it, like 3 more duck boards (i made one in the 24hozzt art entry), maybe some more pictures of T Rex Boy / Lil Buddy, and if anyone gives me any, some boards from contributors who feel they have something to add to this duck adventure known as courageous commoner. Well, over and out.
