Warhammer 40000 Dawn of War

If you want to act like He-Man, grab a sword and stand on the peak of one the mountains in Valua then stick your sword into the sky screaming "I HAVE THE POWER!!".Then get struck by lightning just like He-Man.

Warhammer 40000 Dawn of War

Great RTS. It was a bit easy though. It had the greatest intro I've ever seen on a game, great gameplay, decent story, and it was a bit short. Has anyone else played it?

Yeah, the intro to the game was amazing. I'm still not very far in it yet though, so I'm not sure I can say much more about it. But I find it alot of fun.

I have nothing against people who play Warhammer (the figurine game), but I've never played it myself.

I was invited to do so, once, by a guy who worked at a Games Workshop. I declined, but passed by when a game was going on to see what it was all about.

There was a big fat bald guy surrounded by a bunch of small, timid people, yelling at the top of his voice. He was shouting things like "BRING IN YOUR FUCKING SPEARMEN!!! YES!!! FUCKING AWESOME!!! WE ARE GODS!!! YOU WILL NEVER DEFEAT US!!!" On the table were a myriad of these damn figurines, all hand-painted.

It was really scary.

I'd rather play a real war game. Reenact some Napolean or Ancient Greek battle.

As for the RTS, it seems like pretty generic to me. With the exception of squads and moral. But really, you should just play the Total War series.

what's funny is that yesterday i went to an art gallery and there was one exhibit by THE CHAPMAN BROTHERS (i doubt it was the homestar runner guys somehow) which was a collection of little painted cast-iron figurines

only instead of being warhammer shit they were like models of war atrocities
he looked upon the world and saw it was still depraved :fvkk:

Maybe that's why they go by "The Brothers Chaps" rather than "The Chapman Brothers".
