Do you plan to do any programming in this game?

Don't you dare soil the school name.

I would kill for an oldschool adventure like Adventure 1.

You can't have a good adventure game that doesn't contain the following program:

Code: Select all

#throwstar seek
#restart
Also, throw in a few objects that #endgame if you touch them. Bonus points if they look like keys.

I'm looking forward to playing this game, as long as you're not making it all shitty intentionally.

You forgot to add random, invisible objects with the following code.

Code: Select all

#end
:touch
You fall in a bottomless hole and die. PLZ TRY AGAIN
#endgame
Also, keys and doors must not be any farther than three spaces apart.

Stak, your code contained unnecessary commands. Let me optimize it for you:

Code: Select all

:touch
You fall in a bottomless hole and die. PLZ TRY AGAIN
#endgame
Much better.

Am I like the only one who sees that this game is going to be very
boring? If I wanted keys, doors and monsters, I'd play Town of ZZT. Also,
random sudden death, is so random ,which I'm guessing you like so I'll
shut up now.

Somebody has no apprecitation of classic gameplay.

Go play some Fred 2, or Link's Adventure, or Yoshi 1-4, or uh Aceland. Hell yes play Aceland, that game is excellent.

YES.

I remember downloading Chris Kohler's Yoshi games off the AOL boards and thinking they were the greatest things ever.
