i'm downloading this and i'm going to put it onto soulseek for the world to share

also;

<Nadir> this is very generic
<Nadir> it's like, "minimalist drum beat at beginning? check. repetitive, vocoded vocals? check. increasingly distorted bass throughout? check"
<Nadir> "parping noises? check"
<pando> NADIR
<pando> HOMESTAR RUNNER RATED THIS SONG "BORING"
<Nadir> "'ambient' drone in background? check"
<Nadir> good

Well... That was fun to listen to. I have to agree with Moose and -- OH! Did I mention that it sounds all the same the whole time? And that it was a waste of good vocoding? What did you use to create this piece? eJay?

The thing is... I have to use a lame Homestar Runner quote for this.

"BORING"

I can't hear it right now because this computer I'm using has its speakers disabled somehow, but tell me, is it as good as that "em oy uvula" song?

Try sandwiching it between a "www." and a ".com".

Low quality MIDI? There's no such thing dude. MIDI stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface, right? So...that would mean the "low quality" sounds actually came from the crappy TONE MODULE that I used. The MIDI system is used only for programming melodies. It doesn't make any sound, silly.

Maybe he meant that it was like a poorly composed MIDI song, or that MIDI music has a low-quality sound to it.

Yesss this is VERY funny isn’t. I can “take it” when someone tells me something I made is crap, because I simply don’t give a fuck. But seriously, you guys would be telling me it’s sort of mediocre in quality, if I hadn’t annoyed you all with my original OSPACE mistake.

You know, you may never find the ability to believe this, but, I’m actually a decent guy in REAL LIFE, that is, the life that doesn’t evolve around a website based on a TEN YEAR OLD GCS that nobody uses anymore.

And don't give me all that PRETEND-YOU-UNDERSTAND rhetoric about sound quality; you don't know what you're talking about. This is "Industrial Dream Dance", and as such the sound quality if moulded to sound all "greyed out and gritty". Get over it.
