It makes sense, but that's a really stupid way of saying it.

No but I've read a lot of books by authors that would put you and your grasp of the english language to shame.

That's proof, as if any were needed, that academic prowess is not necessarily relevant to a person's actual potential.

For the record, I took A2 English and got a B grade. If getting a lower grade means I don't feel the need to constantly prove my worth by using millions of long words regardless whether or not context demands them, then so be it!

Tyrannous, why exactly are you trying to prove your intellectual prowess so hard?
And why here, on a site dedicated to a GCS from the 90's? Shouldn't you be making games instead of just posting on the forums?

That statement is completely subjective, and totally lacks in validity. And I never said I was fully seasoned.

The use of the word "evocative" as a joke is quickly becoming boring. And nobody on here has ever used the word in acceptable grammatical context. Very ironic.

You’re asking me to “Go be evocative somewhere else”. This is hardly possible is it? Does a person behave in an evocative manner? No, not really. Allow me to quote the freedictionary.com listing.

evocative

E`vo´ca`tive
Adj. 1. evocative - serving to bring to mind; "cannot forbear to close on this redolent literary note"- Wilder Hobson; "a campaign redolent of machine politics"

Okay so if that listing wasn’t sufficiently helpful try this one from dictionary.com:

e·voc·a·tive
(adj.)
Tending or having the power to evoke.

e·voke
(tr.v.) e·voked, e·vok·ing, e·vokes
To summon or call forth: actions that evoked our mistrust.
To call to mind by naming, citing, or suggesting: songs that evoke old memories.
To create anew, especially by means of the imagination: a novel that evokes the Depression in accurate detail.

My example: This ceramic vase is evocative of the late nineteenth century European floral style.

Tyrannous is right though, this isn't evocative at all. It's rather spartan if you ask me.

i thought lord of the rings, as an entirety, was a delightfully whimsical example of choreographed cinematics.
