Rewind

Rewind is the game I submitted to the WoZ unfinished, and liked it enough to pick it back up. A brief story synopsis follows, with a few screenshots:

THe year 2520 the earth has been overtaken by the Galagan Dominion. The one group set out to destroy them has been rooted out, it's head and his bodyguard run off of the planet. Six months later, they wander in space, in the most powerful ship in the galaxy, without a single map in reach.

However, when they manage to manipulate space time fabric, creating a wormhole to earth seventy-five years ago. It looks like they may have one last chance to save the world from the horror that is Galaga. But it may cost them their lives.

I know that's horribly cliche, but, I think that anything otherwise trite, handled appropriately, can be made into a masterpiece, or at least a decent game.

Thank you, Dos. Also, I wish I knew what language Karrde and TTTPPP were speaking in, but in my language, it doesn't count as constructive criticism. If you want to post random nonsense, please go crap in off topic instead. Someone please delete their posts. Thanks.

I don't like deleting posts, unless they're Tyrannous or DarbyJ being a mong and an idiot respectively. Neither Karrde nor TTTPPP insulted you, which is all this forum really wants to avoid. Besides:

What was submitted of Rewind in the WoZ was pretty damn good, so I have high expectations of this project.

Actually, it's not intended to be a Galaga rip-off, or even to be based on Galaga, it was just the first idea that came to me at 9:00 PM. I'll <strike>probably</strike> WILL change it to something original when I come up with it.

And I must admit that it is an honor to have such fine things said to me by you, Nadir. Thanks a lot.
