I cannot compose zzt music well, so I've decided to rely on external music, (midi's cause they zip very well). I've decided that I'm going to use music from games that were not released (after some major tweeking), how much of a problem do you think that would be?

I can see it now...

"EXCUSE ME BUT UH CAN PLAY PLAY BATTLE.MIDI NOW? THANKS."

Either have no music, or force MadTom to make it. MadTom can't say "no" to little boys, and little boys can't say "no" to MadTom.

well, I'm going to offer a choice, crappy sound effects, or this nice remix music I've stolen
Its just going to appear as a text at the bottom, and you don't even have to listen to it.
Also, It won't change unless you switch worlds or reach a boss

I've got n-trac which allows me to see the midi files in "note" form, but most are in a combined way to where I can't get them to play on zzt
also, my recent creation works on kevedits ctrl-t but not in zzt

Mr Chase Bramblebush has a long (easily over 20 min) midi that he suggests you play as backgound music over the entire game of bloodlines.

The one I have for the dungeons is 4:30 minutes, which means it will usually repeat itself about 2-3 times

When I play a zzt game I usually turn the sound off and play a song that is appropriate for the atmosphere of the game. I think everyone here can do the same if you ask them. You now in europe midi files used to play slowly for me when I ran them along with zzt.

Uhh but if it is official this post was kind of pointless.

I say dont use music if you hav to pick those 2 choices. Just ad a few short notes to a few stuf, but not to long music. And I recomend that you do not ad eny muvie screens to the game. Town ZZT dusent hav eny uv that!
