Pokemon

I think the games are pretty good, I think the reason I like it is probably
because of the choices it gives you. You could get a whole bunch of water
pokemon or like a bunch of fire when you like it hot. But there's also a
down side, which is the choices it gives you could literally backfire on you,
forcing you to create a multi-type team of powerful pokemon, while the
gym leaders are all cool and get to have their favorite pokemon. Also I
think the game would have been better if it was less linear and gave you
more freedom, not just having beating the gym leaders as your whole
superobjective.
P.S. I don't like Pikachu. He's/She's too overmarketed, if that's a word.

A little less than 200 of the Pokemon from R/B/Y and G/S/C cannot be found in Ruby/Sapphire. The data for them technically exists, but that's just so that if you have Pokemon Colosseum or the upcoming Fire Red/Leaf Green and get them there, you're allowed to trade them back to Ruby/Sapphire. Without those, you're kind of out of luck, since they're nowhere to be found in the Ruby/Sapphire wild. (Unless you Shark, anyway, but that would make you a cheater and cheaters never win.)
For a complete list of the Pokemon that didn't make it, open this FAQ:
http://db.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvan ... n_rs_c.txt
And do a search for the phrase "What Pokemon aren't in this game?" to skip to the right line. If you're too lazy to do that, I'll just mention a couple of the <strike>ones that every freaking person who ever played this game, ever, always had in their completely standard party</strike> more popular ones: no more Snorlax, Scyther, Onix, Eevee, any of the R/B/Y or G/S/C legendaries, or anything any of them evolve to. (Again, at least until Colosseum/Fire Red/Leaf Green.)
Fortunately my beloved Skarmory is still there and that's the only important thing. The rest of you just suck. :D

I just got the clock bug fixed for my copy of Ruby. It's not hard, seeing as there are roughly one and a half a billion ways to do it. If you don't want Colosseum or Fire Red/Leaf Green, you can always call any EB or GameStop next to you and see if they're still running the GameCube demo disk with the berry patch (#14 if they need to know.) I just brought my GBA into an EB and hooked it up to their 'Cube and patched yesterday. They even give you a shiny Zigzagoon holding a Liechi berry for your troubles. And if none of the stores act like they know what you're talking about, Nintendo repair centers can do it, as can Nintendo of America if you mail your copy to them.
And yes, I am serious. My Skarmory owns you all.
