It'd be good to have it hosted on Z2, we wouldn't have to keep yelling at craNK to moderate it or fix it

I've never actually seen IRC Man (aside from the webarchive page and pyro's box43), but have heard great things about it. I heavily agree with hosting it on z2. I'd really like to see it updated! So, about how long would it be before it is transfered here, or whatever the plans are?

here's what we need to do:

1. fix ircman. this can be accomplished in four easy steps:
  • someone code it
  • someone upload it to z2
  • someone get the original file from crangkdo and adapt it to the new format or whatever
  • go through logs in search of recent funny and submit
i almost started making a new ircman but i'm extremely busy with the movie score i'm doing, plus my php is mega-rusty.

use the bash.org source

it's open source! it'll be easy! then add the quotes

i really don't think crank is going to give anyone the archive seeing as i asked him like five times back in july and he said he'd "think about it" then never did anything

it will have to be... a whole new challenge.................... started from scratch... in 1942... americans fight hitler...

well, if furries can make their own bash, anyone can

but you are, sadly, correct... i can't find it either....... i'm sure someone out there knows where it is

didn't apage43 make an ircman alternative the last time it died? maybe someone could ask him if he still has the php for that.

oh wait i hate apage, nevermind :zzt:

You can find a couple of clones if you search SourceForge for a QDB (quote database). Any of those look good to anyone?
