Eidophusikon by Jack Masters

It took me a while, but I just finished this book the other night. Early on, I found it difficult to care much about what was going on. Maybe I was just distracted when I was reading it. But by the end the story became pretty interesting. Because I set the book aside and picked it back up a couple times, I think I lost track of some of the threads that tie earlier parts to later parts. Though I suspect the story would have remained disorienting to some degree even had I read it straight through with dedicated focus.
