aww, but I hosted the last one, and I'm not sure if I'll be available for a whole 24 hours with school and all. Maybe, I might be able to, I'll check my calendar.

Hey! I can't use the default ZZT editor AT ALL!

Also, you can check for ZZTAE anyway and KevEdit was secretly used for AGES. Especially in all the contests.

O_o what? as in it's broke? or you never learned?

is there really no way to check if kevedit was used? I mean, outside of if stats were edited beyond was you can grab from pure STK.

also I forgot you hosted the last one nupanick. you actually want to participate in one, this makes sense.

There are a couple of spots in the file format which are still unknown. Might be memory addresses or something used for internal use only.

Anyway, KevEdit usually fills these spots with 00s, the internal editor fills them with arbitrary junk, and ZZT doesn't seem to care at all. You might be able to identify a KevEdit game based on this.

EDIT: I guess I'm hosting, unless anyone opposes it. What date works best?

I usually keep a bit of time open on weekends for this sort of thing, some time on saturday afternoon or friday night might work for me.

I think it may be padding. :P

Which means it would be possible for the internal editor to fill them with 00s, but also i could make an utility to put arbitrary junk into these places. :D

I might still be at church on sunday at 3(est), and I can't stay up all night because of school on monday. Friday night to saturday morning?
