Re: What SHOULD you be working on right now?
God if that question doesn't sound like a teacher asked it !
Me personally ? I'm supposed to be working on a great many things but just yesterday I cobbled together my very first ZZT cart. Yep. And if you're curious you'll have to dig for it. Absolutely no self-esteem is present, so if you find it and hate it, well that makes two of us ...
In truth I developed a new type of A*STAR method a few weeks back, the original algorithm was too hard for me to understand so I wrote my own and its a lot easier and does the same thing. So with it I was working on a turn-based cat game in a different programming language. That's all you get until I get more done on it myself. I also write books. Six so far and a 7th on the way.
The main reason I'm here ? To figure out how to code random numbers in ZZT without them having a bell-curve, I can think of some games that would benefit from this, and ... to suggest stuff ! Yep, good old ZZT with its limit of 10 boolean flags. Any chance of these at least hitting 256 any time soon ?
