Which Megaman game is the best?

If you want to act like He-Man, grab a sword and stand on the peak of one the mountains in Valua then stick your sword into the sky screaming "I HAVE THE POWER!!".Then get struck by lightning just like He-Man.

Which Megaman game is the best?

Post by FYNDR »

Using my infinite knowledge of the internet, I found the "Poll" option on the "New Topic" page. The question is simple: Of all the Megaman (or Rockman, as he is sometimes known) games in the Classic series (1 - 8, not including the X series) is the best? IMO, Mega Man II is pretty awesome, what with that goddamned Quickman and whatnot. He was a powerful fuck. For added fun, post your favorite Mega Man boss here (from any of the games, including the X series, because Boomer Kuwanger also rocked).

Polls - They aren't just for Poland anymore.

Megaman and Bass. Also, although I didn't really like or hate Boomer Kuwanger, his stage has awesome music.

I liked Megaman 8 the best. It had some great gameplay and some awesome music.

Also I can't believe that Megaman 8 is 10 years old now DDDDD:

I've beaten all the NES megamans and 2 is by far the best. It's only problem is that boss where you have to use Crashman's bombs and you can't miss unless you're crazy good in which case missing wouldn't be a problem anyway.

4 and 5 are also really awesome. I like all of them except for like 1 and 3.

7 is a dumb snes one.

8 was really cool when I rented it but I have no memories other than realizing BASS and TREBLE were related to music!

Also I always call him base. Shut up.

mega man 2, because the intro with megaman standing on the building is pretty rad

and it's a cool game, too!

Yeah, that was in Dr. Wily's castle. That part sucked hardcore (I think it was the third stage in the castle), but the flying robodragon made up for it.

1&2

6 was also fun for being able to become the stong guy or the jetpack guy.

7 was really hard, but the ending was cool and some of the weapons were neat. (Megaman struggles with Isamov's robot rules)

also there's this NES game The Krion Conquest that's about a witch and has pretty close to identical gameplay to Megaman.
