Notice I said, "And if you know what TV show he's from, you don't get any cookies." I didn't say, "And if you don't know what TV show he's from, you do get any cookies." You can't assume that the inverse of a true statement is true. Neither can you assume that the converse is true. But it's okeley dokeley to believe in the contrapositive. So if you do get any cookies, you don't know what TV show he's from. That's not to say that if you don't get any cookies, you know what TV show he's from. Got it?
