Stats of 2003

Post by 38 »

Well, this is my second year doing this, which means I have no life.

This was not a very good year for ZZT. I personally think it was one of the worst. Sure we got games put into the archive, however, the majority of the games were lacking a lot of effort. It is a shame that a lot of the well known ZZTers have stopped making games.
I also noticed that this year, there were more Demos from a variety of people. Last year, mainly every single one of them were done by Master Raze.
Also, it seemed like there was no standard categories, it was pretty much, whatever people wanted it to be. I mean, one person categorized their game as “show off” What the heck is that? Another categorized their game as “Display” These are good categories. Action, Adventure and RPG are good categories. Oh well, here are the stats for 2003

I assume by this you mean that 2 people each finished a demo that they submitted, master raze submitted 2 he did not finish, and 18 other people submitted one demo each.

So what's the difference between "finished" and "completed"?

wow that is a little confusing. What I meant was:
there were 22 demos, but only 2 were completed into full versions.
MasterRaze created the most, which was 2... and he didn't complete either of them.

Didn't Master Raze release a demo of TKP4, though? I seem to recall coming across that when I was compiling the list of this year's games for the Endgame awards.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.

ESP was ace. Frost was probably great because Zenith made it. Everything else either sucked or went unplayed by myself.
