Cool. I might look into finding that flash device or whatever just to be able to play ZZT on a handheld. What about Plastic, though? That's got multiplayer or something, has that been ported? I'm really excited to know ZZT has been emulated on different devices, because I don't want the community to smother itself.

You would have to ask the developer of Plastic.

There's several things I'd like to ask the developer of plastic, but the Plastic website is more or less abandoned and I don't know who to ask.

Does DreamZZT handle the player clone glitch yet? I was thinking about ways to emulate it earlier but don't want to be redundant.

No, DreamZZT does not currently implement player clones the same way ZZT does.

Glitch Simulations: Nightmare or Cop-out?

Post by Scribbit »

Would there be some way to forward [#put player] requests to put a special object that simulates the player clone? It'd just have to issue :touch messages, shoot with the player, and transport the player. I think it can do other stuff in ZZT, but it's not used for much more than that.
I'm nupanick.

Tried this today.. App loads fine, but doesn't seem to be able to locate any of the games, which are in the same base directory.

Why do you need to contact the author?

Nobody's posted in this thread for nearly a year. Are you doing something with DreamZZT specifically, or is this just the first interesting thread you saw?

Also, welcome to z2!
