Hey Gang! Hope those projects are going well. My apologies for the last couple posts. I had lost all sense of direction! But it's become clear—the theme is time travel. Check out the new machine.

I wanted my last board to be a raw throwback. I imagined the player plummeting into a fight-or-flight mode and this came to mind.
The objective is to solve 9 puzzles and unlock the relics below!

Oh man, I used to have one of those keyboards, they're pretty sweet, I still haven't forgiven microsoft for adding the windows key between alt and ctrl. It's a pretty worthless key IMO. I can't tell from the pic, but with the mhz indication, I can only imagine that tower has the "turbo" button.

Hah, TURBO POWER! :ssj: Yea the keyboard is even better than I remember, especially without that Ctrl-Esc (Windows) key. They're simply built like a tank. This one's manufactured by IBM (circa 1984) before they cheaped out and outsourced production. Most the machine's components were new-in-the-box, like this lovely tower. Quite modern-looking, eh? I'm really happy with the rig. It's gonna come in handy during playtesting.

Now that I've got all my ducks in a row, I'm gonna get the hard stuff out of the way, finish my other project and do some artwork for Commodore's upcoming title Space Fork which got me on a Star Trek kick..

Yea but the keyboard is preferred. So I was digging through some photos and found this one of my old PC. *sniff*
There's definitely some ZZT stuff on those floppies. Notice the Gravis Gamepad hiding under the monitor.

This is taking on a classic arcade vibe! I suspect it's gonna be leaner and meaner more like the originals. In many ways, ZZTV is the spiritual successor to community projects like The Best of ZZT and 24 Hours of ZZT which are worth checking out. Will this ZZTV torch go out? IDK but I'm passing it back to its creator, our friend Dark FLR. :torch:

The first volume of ZZTV #11 is complete! Special thanks to all the contributors.

The JsDOSBox back-end is serving its purpose but em-dosbox just might be the future. The latest beta runs great in Chrome. PC speaker is really smooth on a well-equipped device.

An author could assemble a minimally hacked "ZZTBOX" with custom music, font, etc. embedded on a webpage. I think there's room for growth in that regard. One of many possible utilities...

Ahoy there, idiots! What an accomplishment to get this through the door! Thank you all for making it happen.

It's been a while... have some ideas for ZZTV 11.2 and am open to feedback. I really want to tap into the art of level design for this last-ditch effort. Inspired by the work of Kailin Zhu and Terry Li, my channel will be strictly limited to one (amber) monochrome board and should be completed within any given weekend.. Food for thought.
